The best time to visit Diphu is from late October to February. This period marks the winter season across the state of Assam where the temperatures generally range from around 10°C to 24°C. The days are sunny but cool and nights can get chilly. Diphu being situated at an elevation of about 186 m generally experiences lower temperatures than the surrounding regions. Nights and even days can get extremely cold from late December to mid-January. Hence, it is advisable to carry warm clothes if visiting during this period.
