Medal of Honor Park, Boston Overview
Initially known as Independence Square, Medal of Honor Park is a peaceful historic park in South Boston’s City Point. The park houses a memorial to honour the Vietnam Veterans and every year in September, there is a ceremony to rededicate the same. It is an excellent location for a picnic, walking around in the lawns and the pathway, and is also ideal for kids, especially after the renovation brought in new play equipment and water play.
