American Visionary Art Museum, Baltimore Overview

Located in the neighborhood of Federal Hill in Baltimore, Maryland, American Visionary Art Museum is renowned for being the official museum for self-taught art in the country. The museum displays and preserves art that are made by outsiders.

It also features a 55-foot tall sculpture that was created by a 76-year-old farmer, Vollis Simpson from North Carolina, a 16-foot Lusitania display that is made solely from toothpicks, unique assemblage models, beautiful drawings, and various other arts and sculptures.
