Corniche Beach, Abu Dhabi Overview

Abu Dhabi’s Corniche Beach, which opened in 2008, is one of the most popular beaches and tourist destinations in the city. The 8-kilometres long beach extends along the Corniche Road, starting from the Hilton Hotel to Al Khaleej Al Arabi Street. Other interesting attractions, such as the Marina Mall and the Presidential Palace are located nearby.

The Abu Dhabi Corniche beach is noted for its well-kept and unlittered landscape, as well as the unique services offered to beachgoers. It is also known for its Blue Flag status, which is the international eco-label for beaches that guarantee clean and safe water. The beach thus attempts to maintain certain standards regarding environmental management, water quality, security and services.
