₹ 4,000 onwards View Packages
Himachal has very few conventional destinations bearing massive tourist footfall throughout the year. Most Indians prefer Himachal for a holiday in the hills. But if you're jaded by visiting the same old destinations of Himachal, and you think you've covered it all, then head to Gushaini. You are sure to experience an offbeat adventure in the rustic beauty of this destination.

Gorgeous Gushaini

Tirthan Valley
Located in the enchanting Tirthan Valley of Kullu, Gushaini is known for its adventure trails and bedazzling sights. The region makes for a great trekking and camping destination away from the congested treks in the valleys of Kullu-Manali. Gushaini also bears villages on the outskirts of the region which are worth visiting. Above all, the roaring Tirthan river gushing through the meandering mountain ways is a sight to behold!

Regional Highlights
Bracketed in greenery, Gushaini is flanked with vast orchards of apricots, peaches, and pears. In addition to the view, the surrounding nature's aroma and the enchanting peaks in the background are surely a delight! The locals of Gushaini are very warm and hospitable. They make you feel at home and guide you in case you're stranded.

Attractions In and Around Gushaini

1. Himalayan National Park

Rolla
If you want to trek in Gushaini, reach the Himalayan National Park. Start off at Pekhri and undertake a 4-hour trail across fruit orchards and the quaint village of Lagcha to finally reach the magnificent Meadows of Ragnar. You might also encounter playful herds of sheep along the way. The Himalayan National Park consists of several other attraction points which are must-visits along your trek.

Rolla

The Himalayan National Park bears a narrow valley of the Tirthan River. The roaring water passing through the winding roads makes for a sight to behold.  The walk to Rolla is quite pleasant and not much effort is needed to get here as the roads are flat.

Sarchi and Kamala Village

To reach the Lambri top you will have to cross Sarchi and Kamala Village.  The top hill gives a scenic view of Tirthan Valley. With serene and picturesque thick foliage spots around, you can also walk on to strike up a conversation with the locals who are quite resourceful regarding travel tips and unknown hidden gems. These villages act as a base to climb the Lambri top.

2. Sarloskar Lake

This pristine lake meandering through the mountains flanked by apple and oak cedar forests makes for a great camping destination. With a temple closeby, Sarloskar Lake has charming surroundings with green landscape and beautiful valleys. The route to Sarloskar bears pretty meadows with colourful wildflowers. The view here is just out of a fairytale.

3. Ancient Wood House

The Ancient Wood House is a breathtaking temple nestled in the Gushaini roadways. Locals suggest that the temple deity was a revered individual of the region and it is now run by his descendants. The Wood House was the deity's abode which was converted into a temple by local worshippers.

Best Time to Visit

Gushaini is suitable to visit all year. Monsoon is the only season that is not very comfortable to trek or camp but otherwise, it is pleasant throughout.

How to Reach Gushaini

Most Preferred Route - Via Car

Via Bus
Several buses ply from Delhi to Mandi if you don't wish to drive down. From Mandi, head to Aut. You can take a bus from Mandi.
