"Malaysia's Largest State"

Sarawak, Malaysia

The largest of all Malaysian states, Sarawak is spread at an equal landscape to that of Peninsular Malaysia. The land of unapologetic jewellery culture, booming tourism and vast natural expanses, Sarawak is a melting pot of its own kind. Housing an abundant swamp and wetland that shelters numerous marine animals, Sarawak also sites immense portions of tropically diverse plants and greenery.

The first and only Christian Malaysian state, the secular Sarawakian land is said to have been inhabited for over 40000 years now. Stationed on the northwestern Borneo Island, this state cites magnificent caves such as Sireh Cave, Deer Cave, the most famous Sarawak Chamber and the Niah Caves.

Sarawak offers elaborate water sports and cruising experiences amongst its lists of national parks, museums, nature reserves and rivers. Sarawak also fulfills the needs of many shop-a-holics through its top-notch shopping malls such as Hock Lee Centre, City One Shopping Mall and Bintang Megamall.

Besides beadmaking, the tribes of Sarawak have also had a long-lasting relationship with tattooing. The raw and indigeneous land of Sarawak hosts a variety of festivals each year. One such popular magnet is the famous Rainforest World Music Festival.

Sarawak is indeed a blended experience of the classic concrete jungle and irresistible natural landscapes!
