Established over 40 years ago by Dr. SS Godbole, the the Manipal Museum of Anatomy and Pathology or MAP houses a vast collection of over 3000 specimens. Divided into two sections, the anatomy section is where one can find the skull of an elephant and the skeleton of a cobra as well as exhibits of human body parts. The pathology section consists of diseased organs and body parts. The life-style related diseases display helps visitors understand the impact of modern lifestyle on our body.
