Anantha Padmanabha Temple, Udupi Overview
Anantha Padmanabha Temple, located on the banks of River Sita, is a 7th-century temple dedicated to Lord Anantha Padmanabha. It is said to have been built by Krishna Hebbar after a fire destroyed most of the original shrine along with the temple car. The current structure also houses an idol of Lord Ganesha and a Rudralinga.
