Bhutan Postal Museum, Thimphu Overview
Established in 2015, Bhutan Postal Museum is a philatelist's paradise. Displaying the evolution of Bhutanese stamps from ancient to modern times, all kinds of postal stamps, ranging from a square shape to 3D designs, are shown here. The main objective was to narrate the evolution of communication in Bhutan, from legendary messengers to postal services. There are five galleries in the museum, each one showing stamps, artefacts and anecdotes from a different era. The museum also has a cafe right at the entrance for visitors.
