Shoghi Railway Station is the nearest narrow gauge railhead in Shoghi. The nearest broad gauge railway station to Shoghi is Kalka which is around 90 km away.  The town of Shoghi is approachable from Kalka and Shimla, by Himalayan Queen (Hill Train) also known as Toy Train. Shoghi is  102 km away from Chandigarh and 331 km away from Delhi. The nearest airport is Jubbarhatti Airport in Shimla which is approximately 33 km from Shoghi. Buses and taxis are easily available from these places and other parts of North India to Shoghi.

The nearest domestic air base is Jubbarhatti Airport in Shimla which is approximately 33 km from Shoghi, and the nearest airport is Chandigarh which is 102 km away. The local carriers like Air India, Jet Airways, Indigo, Spice Jet and others have direct flights from Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and other cities to Chandigarh Airport. You can hire a taxi to go to Shoghi from the airport or you can go to Shimla and take a bus which operates frequently on this route.

How to reach Shoghi by road

There are frequent bus services from Delhi and Chandigarh to Shimla (7 km away) or Solan (15 km away) from Shoghi. Alternatively, you can hire a taxi to travel to Shoghi. However, make sure the driver has experience driving in hilly regions.

The nearest railway station is Kalka which is around 90 km and is served by passenger and express trains. It is well-served by rail but you will need to travel to Shimla or Solan to get a bus for Shoghi.
