Lake Eola, Orlando Overview
The 23 acre lake, Lake Eola, is basically a sinkhole and is located in Downtown Orlando. The main attraction of the lake is the fountain, which appears breathtaking in the evening when the colour of the fountain changes.
Surrounding the water body is a 1.4 km sidewalk that can be used for several purposes. There is also the Lake Eola Park which hosts a Walt Disney Amphitheatre, a Chinese pagoda, and a playground. While you are at the lake, you can indulge in some boating, photography, bird watching, paddle boating, relaxing, or playing some sports. If you are planning to go for a picnic at the lake, there are picnic tables and restroom facilities to make your day better.
