Lalitha Mahal Palace, Mysore Overview

Built in the year 1921, Lalitha Mahal is the second largest palace in Mysore. It was built at the orders of Maharaja Krishnaraja Wodeyar IV of Mysore for stay of the then Viceroy of India. The architecture of the grand palace was inspired by St. Paul? Cathedral in London, making it one of the most remarkable structure to grace the landscape of the city.

As it is converted into a heritage hotel,visitors are allowed to the ground floor only.since bar and private rooms are occupied half of the ground floor, there is nothing to see there.
