FAQs on Mozambique

How can I commute within Mozambique?

Most roads here fall under the "not so good" category. While the main road networks linking the major cities of the country are maintained well, the others fail to match the standard. Hence, bringing a self owned vehicle to the place is not a good idea. A better alternative would be to get aroung in Chapas and Buses. Buses in Mozambique are time concious and usually start off at early sunshine. Private buses also do the trips. Cabs here do not have a meter, hence need to be bargained for the price. The rail network of Mozambique manages to interconnect the major cities of Maputo, Cuamba, Chicualacuala and Pretoria.
