Hillpark Sibolangit, Medan Overview

Situated amongst the mountains of Sibolangit, Hillpark Sibolangit is the largest theme and amusement park in Sumatra, featuring rides and play areas. Based on a Camelot theme, it is divided into three main zones - Lost City, Toon Town and Heritage. Hillpark Sibolangit is a must-visit attraction in Medan, specially if travelling with kids.

The theme parks of Hillpark Sibolangit comprise of various types of rides such as Roller Coasters, Ferris Wheel, Carnival games, and 4D Theatre. Apart from this, shows and dance performances are regularly organized in the amphitheatre area.

1. Heritage Theme Park: Developed in the form of a magnificent looking castle, the Heritage Theme Park is sure to make the kids feel like a prince or a princess. Comprising of unique architecture, Heritage Park houses multiple indoor games and Carnival rides including Comedy Swivel, Ombang–Ambing, Bumper Boats etc.

2. Lost City Theme Park: A visit to Lost City Theme Park is like going into a different era, with ancient-style architectural buildings and dinosaur skeletons appearing now and then. The best part about this theme park is the Extravagance roller coaster. Other games and rides include the Windmill Giant Ferris Wheel, Space Shuttle, Telecombat and Train Hillpark. There is also a Food Court present inside the Lost City Theme Park.

3. Toon Town: The Toon Town Theme Park is designed especially for children or toddlers. With funny cartoon characters present throughout the theme park, the kids are sure to enjoy the exciting rides and games like Tornado, Mini Bom–Bom, Propeller, Crazy Taxi, etc.

How To Reach Hillpark Sibolangit

Hillpark Sibolangit lies at a distance of around 46 km towards the south of Medan city. The most convenient way of reaching the park is to hire a taxi or opt for a self-drive car as the city's public transportation is not very developed.
