Shri Jarimari Temple has quite a religious importance in the region. Locals believe that a farmer happened to cut to stone in three pieces while ploughing, but soon noticed blood streaming out of the stones. He preserved the pieces, built a small dome-like structure around it and started worshipping the stones. Later on, the temple was extended and a deity of Lord Durga was installed.
