Storrier Stearns, Los Angeles Overview

Built over 7 years since 1935 by Japanese landscape architect and first generation immigrant Mr. Kinzuchi Fujii, Storrier Stearns is included in the National Register of Historic Places as one of California’s best maintained Japanese gardens.

This compact botanical garden features a grand gate reflecting East Asian styles, decorative flowers, trimmed trees and tropical palm groves. This meditative Zen retreat and Teahouse offers a peaceful environment for weddings and photoshoots around the waterfalls. You can enjoy walking on ravishing Korean grass through bamboo, lillies and fuchsia overlooking a small lake and behold fluttering birds and vibrant koi at your feet.
