Central Park, Kolkata Overview
Also known as Banabitan, Central Park is the second largest urban park after Maidan, situated in Bidhannagar, Kolkata. Built around an expansive lake, the park also has a rose garden which has umpteen varieties of domestic and imported roses. Another attraction in the Central Park is its beautiful butterfly garden which is home to several species of colorful butterflies.

The Bio-diversity park has been suddenly turned to an Entertainment park and from 1st. August,2022 the authority is charging fees from Senior citizens Morning walkers,who were allowed entry during 5a (Read More)m to 8am without any fee. This has been done at the instruction of Jyotipriya Mullick Forest Minister o getting hefty amount from Commercial business house.
