Tosh, Kasol Overview
Tosh is a small wooden-house village in Himachal Pradesh's Parvati Valley, at an altitude of around 2,400 metres. Largely untouched by fast development, it's known for its backpacker cafe culture and as a base for treks such as the two-day Tosh-Kutla trek, with Kheerganga roughly a 10 km walk further on. The Parvati River runs through the valley below the village.
Tosh has scattered villages across the lush green hills juxtaposed against snow-dusted peaks. Here you can experience the bounty of nature in all its glory, combined with some indigenous as well as exotic experiences. This destination is quite often thronged by visitors from other countries, and you can interact with them and experience their cuisine at local eateries as well.
