Trekking season is divided into two periods; the first is the monsoon period from June to October which is a photographer_Ñés delight with mist and accentuated greenery greeting him/her while on the ascent to the hill. Summers constitute the second period, though trekking at this time is relatively difficult due to the presence of leeches and wild animals. Post monsoon period too is a difficult time for trekking with grasses growing seven feet taller making navigation in the forest and grasslands difficult.
