Janardana Temple, Guwahati Overview
Janardana Temple, perched on the Shukleshwar hillock along the Shukleshwar ghats of the Brahmaputra river in Guwahati, is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. The temple overlooks the Brahmaputra river and the green valleys surrounding Guwahati.
The main sanctum of the temple enshrines a Buddhist statue and is a revered place of meditation and worship by both Hindu and Buddhist pilgrims.
