Ferozepur Nallah, Gulmarg Overview
Ferozepur Nallah is a mountain stream flowing through the valleys between Chinamarg and Nurpur Pass, near Gulmarg. It's popular for trout fishing in the summer, and also makes for a quiet picnic stop away from the main town.
The freshwater lake flows with sparkling water which is perfectly good for drinking; besides it provides plenty of opportunities for trout fishing. Located at a distance of 5 kms from Gulmarg, Ferozepur Nallah is the base camp for Tosamaidan Trek. Also known as Shinmahinyu, the streamside provides a spectacular panoramic vista of the ethereal landscape.
