Barzan Towers, Doha Overview
Barzan meaning high places was built in the late 19th century are the watchtowers and located on the southern side of the defensive system. The tower is about 16 meters high and was built for the purpose to look out for ships entering the city. This tower has two more fortified buildings one on the north side other on the west. It now has air conditioners inside it.
