Lamahatta Eco Park, Darjeeling Overview

Lamahatta Eco Park is located in the scenic village of Lamahatta in West Bengal, at an altitude of around 5,700 ft. The park was created in 2012 to showcase views of the peaks, rivers, and dhupi and pine forests in the area. Lamahatta means 'Monk's Hermitage', and the eco-park aims to offer a tranquil, balanced environment between nature and visitors.

The eco-park has wooden & bamboo gazebos that overlook the beauty of Lamahatta. The manicured garden, known as the 'Roadside Garden', flowers various plants seasonally including white and yellow orchids. There are many homestays around the area.
