Mustang Island State Park, Dallas Overview

Located south of Port Aransas, Mustang park is a 2500 year old island known for camping, surfing and kayaking. The mustang island, named after the wild horses found in abundance here is also known to house many other species of small animals, birds and mammals.

The island becomes a tourist hotspot during the spring and fall migrations periods and thousands of different species of birds can be seen migrating at the island. Campins is also very popular at the Mustang beach as it is full of amenities that make the recreation easy and relaxing. There are a total of 48 campsites in the region.
