The Bahá'í House of Worship is the oldest and the second temple constructed for the Baha I faith. Baha I faith denotes the importance of all religions and incorporates unity. Designed by the French-Canadian architect Loius Bourgeois this house of worship is exclusively reserved for worship. It prohibits sermons and promotes the chanting or reading of the scriptural texts. The temple is not intended as a local meeting place but serves as a devotional space for people of any faith.
