Chicago ISKCON, Chicago Overview

Located in the Rogers Park Neighbourhood of Chicago, ISKCON was established by Srila Prabhupada, and it is one of the most prominent temples of the 5000-year-old Hari Krishna Movement. Incorporated in Illinois in 1974, the temple is a spiritual oasis that regularly offers many spiritual and educational programs.

Some of their programs include Samaskara (purificatory ceremonies), Krishna Lunch(healthy vegetarian meals), Vamsi Vaisnavas( training for the aspiring musicians), etc. Their Sunday feast includes the Lively Kirtan, followed up by lunch, mantra meditation, children activities, and keynotes by eminent Bhakti yogis (devotee of the spiritual path) is open to all regardless of one's belief system.
