Story Bridge, Brisbane Overview
Noted as the longest steel cantilever bridge in Australia, the Story Bridge runs across the Brisbane river connecting motorized traffic between the southern and the northern suburbs of Brisbane. It was established in 1940 and has been heritage-listed. The skyline from the bridge extends to Kangaroo point, the city, and the far-away mountain ranges. The adventure climb of the Story Bridge is one of the only three bridge climbs in the world.
