Shelving a State War Memorial, the Anzac Square & Memorial Gallery is held in trust by the Brisbane City Council. It is dedicated to the people who served their country after the 1899 Boer War. Located at the heart of Brisbane, this preeminent memorial features the Eternal Flame and the Shrine of Remembrance. In addition, three memorial galleries showcasing stories of Queensland and the part played by it are stationed beneath the parklands.
