The office has been transformed into the MacArthur Museum to look behind the frontlines of the Second World War. This museum hosts a collection of documents and exhibits elaborating on the role of Brisbane in World War II. It also focuses on the ties between Australia and The United States that were brought about by the cooperation of the armed forces during the war.
