At Holidify, your safety and trust are our utmost priorities. However, it has come to our attention that fraudulent activities are being conducted in our name to mislead unsuspecting travelers and commit financial fraud. We want to inform and protect our community by raising awareness about these scams, help you identify fake agents, understand how genuine Holidify bookings work, and know your options for secure payment, be it direct agent payments or Holidify’s PaySecure program.

How Scammers Are Misusing Holidify’s Name

Scammers have impersonated Holidify or its agents in the following ways:

🔴 Fake Email IDs: They use unofficial email accounts (like Gmail or Yahoo) with "holidify" in the name to appear legitimate.
🔴 WhatsApp Fraud: They set our logo as their profile picture and pose as Holidify representatives.
🔴 Forged Documents: Some share fake GST certificates, PAN details, or address proofs claiming affiliation with Holidify.
🔴 Unsolicited Payment Requests: They request upfront payments and ask you to transfer money to their personal UPI IDs or bank accounts for travel bookings or services that are not associated with us.

Our Response: Introducing PaySecure

To fight this growing fraud problem and restore booking confidence, Holidify developed PaySecure, a secure payment program that puts you, the traveler, in control.

With PaySecure:

✅ Your money is held safely by Holidify, not sent directly to the agent.
✅ Payments are released only as your trip progresses, not all at once.
✅ If something goes wrong, Holidify can step in—pause payouts, investigate disputes, and issue refunds where needed.

But Not All Agents Use PaySecure—And That’s Okay

While we recommend PaySecure for added security, we understand that some travelers and agents still prefer direct payment arrangements. Here's how both options work:

🔐 Option 1: PaySecure-Enabled Agents (Recommended)

• Pay through Holidify’s platform (not directly to the agent).
• Payment held in escrow and released to the agent only in stages, as your trip progresses.
• In case of a dispute, Holidify can pause payments and mediate resolutions.

💡 Look for the PaySecure badge on your quotation or agent profile to know if this option is available.

⚠️ Option 2: Direct Payment to Agent

• Some agents handle payments independently.
• Holidify is not involved in the transaction or the service delivery.
• We recommend confirming:

The payment account belongs to the agent/company.
The services and cancellation terms are clearly written in your quote.

🚨 Important: If you choose to pay an agent directly, Holidify cannot offer payment protection, refunds, or dispute resolution support.

How to Identify Authentic Holidify Communications

1️⃣  Official Email Domain
Holidify communicates exclusively through emails from our official domain (e.g., @holidify.com). We do not authorize any emails from free platforms like Gmail. Example of suspicious email address (e.g., [email protected])

2️⃣  Verified Travel Agents
Holidify connects you with verified travel agents through our platform. Always check the agent’s reviews, ratings directly via Holidify before proceeding.  

3️⃣  Secure Payment Gateway
All genuine quotations shared by Holidify open on the holidify.com domain. Watch out for quotations shared via google Drive or strange URLs. Holidify collects your payments of PaySecure enabled agents directly on our platform. Never transfer money to a personal account or UPI ID claiming to be us. 

What to Do If You Suspect a Scam

❌ Do not transfer money to a UPI ID or bank account without verifying. Avoid responding to suspicious emails, calls, or messages from unverified sources. Never share personal or financial information.

📩 Report suspicious activity by emailing [email protected]. Forward the details of the fraud (e.g., email ID, phone number, or fake documents) to us. This helps us identify and take action against scammers.

📞 Contact your bank immediately if you've already made a suspicious payment to report the fraud and attempt to recover your funds. Filing a police report can also aid in the recovery process.

🛡 Report cyber fraud to your local cybercrime unit or the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal at https://cybercrime.gov.in.

• Never click on suspicious links or PDFs from unknown sources.
