The view looking out over the tropical beauty of ubud from within the infinity pool.

Unfortunately the under ground floor / downstairs outdoor Stair area had an intense strong smell of septic ( Im guessing.. ) which also made the 2 rooms below the pool smell also

River Sakti Ubud is a beautiful accomodation in a very peaceful environment. We wanted somewhere which gave us true Ubud, rice fields/jungle/ greenery and it certainly delivered. Our room was spacious and very comfortable - bed was massive and so comfy! . The staff was wonderfully polite and couldnt do enough - the breakfasts were wonderful each morning and they also sourced a moped for us which was great. The location is approximately 30 minutes to the central Ubud palace so it is walkable. There are grabs everywhere if you didnt fancy it. We were grateful the hotel was located slightly out of Ubud as it is very busy there!

Our only issue was that our air con broke in our room on our last last evening. The staff did solve this quickly by getting a technician out, but it did stop working again the next morning. No fault of theirs though, and they tried their best to resolveit.

The hotel has a great potential, but right now I would not repeat this experience

Nice and cheerful staff. The view on the stream valley is majestic. The pool floor is nicely designed. The bathrooms are really spacious.

You can clearly see that once upon a time this hotel used to be great. But right now it needs some TLC. Perhaps it had been hit hard during the COVID years, like so many businesses in Bali. I have not noticed anything that couldn't be fixed with a few pairs of hardworking hands though. Hopefully all those issues will be taken care of. It would be great if someone sawed off the dead tree trunk that sticks out like a sore teeth in front of the terrace, spoiling an otherwise heavenly view. Unfortunately, for two consecutive nights we have been disturbed by some animals in the ceiling (rats?). They were obviously having a good time racing against each other, but we were not. It was only then when I read earlier comments from people who stayed at the pool level rooms and encountered the same problem. The breakfasts have potential for improvement. The toiletries (combs in particular) were obviously reused. Not only you could see this from the wrinkled packaging, but the combs themselves were dirty. The bath towels were grayish and worn out.

Truly fantastic !!

What a great location. Super good breakfast, lots of choice, delicious fresh fruit. The banana pancakes were my favorite. The boys really were so attentive. Everything was always ready on time and freshly prepared. My big compliments to them. The view? You look at the jungle, rice fields and coconut trees. So wonderful. Enjoy staring out into the infinity pool. There is always something to see. Rooms were clean and tidy. I really recommend this accommodation to everyone. A taxi to the center is easily arranged. Just download the GOJEK app. A taxi will be at your door within 5 minutes. (Kind of Uber) You know the price because it is in the app. No discussion. This accommodation is located outside the busy part of Ubud and that is really busy.

A few very minor points. The terrace around the pool really needs to be restored. There were a few loose and rotten planks in it. Securely tighten the taps in the bathroom. Asking the neighbor's dog not to bark at 6am

Hotel is very exclusive with a few number of guests allowed. The room was big with an awesome bathtub and terrace overlooking the infinity pool. Everything was very clean and the staff was kind and helpful.
