Oasis of calm in busy city

Lovely location in the middle of the city, with small local temples on the property and a small pool right in front of your door. Friendly staff and affordable. D'gamma Warung around the corner is absolutely amazing too..

We don't know if they belonged to the homestay or the temples, but there are a number of birds in tiny cages and fish in a very small basin.

Disappointing

The location is great, close to a lot of tourist attractions, however a bit hard to find for the first time. The exterior is beautiful.

The room was full of spider webs, the wifi was barely alive, the bedsheets smelled moldy. As a female solo traveler, the guys at the reception made me feel very uncomfortable. Every time I passed by they were asking "did you pay already, what about payment?" (I paid online before even checking in), "where are you going? With whom? Do you have driver? We can organize driver" literally every single time I bumped into the staff they were trying to push their taxi and tours on me. Guys please, try and dial it down next time, yeah?
