Would not stay again because of noisy hens

Room was lovely and clean, nice shower with hot water Lovely gardens and statues Has a restaurant but we didnt try the food Room had a tv, kettle and hairdryer

Staff didnt speak much English so hard to communicate They have 2 hens that scream ALL night long, they are soo loud! So no good nights sleep here Not a lot around - need to walk around 10/15 mins to find a good reviewed restaurant

If youre in Ubud, please come stay here!

Definitely the best homestay you can find in Ubud at this price. Everything was super clean. The bed was comfy and sheets were clean without stains. The bathroom was beautiful and seemed rather new. The breakfast had the largest portions and were always made fresh. The hosts were very friendly and cleaned up the property after every rain downpour. The hosts clean your room maybe every other day, and change the sheets and towels, which is perfect, I think. The A/C was strong but silent and I never felt hot inside the room. The bathroom windows could be closed off so bugs could fly in. The sink was designed very well for comfortably washing hands. The desk had a lot of shelves for placing your items. The bed and room were perfect size for a solo traveler, but it could be more limiting for a couple. It was very quiet and relaxing atmosphere where I stayed on the first floor. I thought the soundproofing was good.

Only small issue was that when I filled up my water bottles with their free drinking water, there were quite a few different organic matter debris floating around, so I stuck to buying bottled water at nearby Coco Supermarket. Not a big deal because I expected to buy bottled water anyways to avoid Bali belly. But I recommend boiling and filtering tap water for drinking. Another recommendation is for the hosts to communicate with us via WhatsApp so we can discuss the breakfast time and any other things that arise because sometimes its hard for us to find each other when were all busy during the day.

Everything was great. Except for cockroaches.

The nature is so beautiful I love how the nature blends in with the room. My room views the garden so it looks just perfect

On the second night, there were 2 cockroaches crawling on my bed. I was very scared.

The room is very clean, the breakfast is simple but very good with a plate full of fresh fruits. Mira the host and her family are very nice. The garden and Koi pond and fishes add more calm andrelaxation. I recommend Jepun Bali Homestay 100 %
