Wonderful secluded place to stay in balinese jungle

This place was like paradise. Although located in the middle of the jungle, the villas (we stayed in two of them) were comfortable and clean. The bathrooms are spacious and nice with all the facilities provided. The location is secluded so only the sounds of the jungle will break the quietness of the place. Breakfast was great, fresh and with multiple choices. The owner was very helpful and we communicated very well. We were also welcomed by the cute puppy of the property . At the lobby there are many books that you can enjoy reading while staying there, which for me represents a very nice touch. The pool and the view over the jungle was mesmerizing and the whole property has its own charm, the one you want to experience in Bali, so we totally recommend staying here!

As the location is isolated, there arent other choices of restaurants, exchanges or markets around the walking area. One of the bathrooms was partially outside so the humidity was high and there were some insects present, but it didnt bother us (we were in the nature after all). The dinner dishes was not for our taste (too spicy for us) but its only our personal opinion.

From heaven to hell

Villas are surrounded by water pools with fishes. The views are very nice.

First villa we were told to go to were very dirty with spiderwebs everywhere, shower head full of green something and toilet dirty as at cheap gas station. The second one that was offered to us was a bit better but still had moldy stains on mattress and mosquito net, which also had a lot of dust on top, above our bed. We had to ask to change the linen because it was dirty. Generally many things in the room looked like weren't clean enough. Overall we decided to finish our stay after one of three paid night. The owner agreed to reimburse us for one night. Also breakfast was unpleasant because of massive amount of flies that attacked us - that might not be the owners fault but the experience remains. Overall nice place that lack care and vision how should "heaven" looks like. Not recommended for that price range.

Heaven in Bali is very true to its name, the location is incredible, you truly feel like you are in the middle of the jungle while still having all the comforts of a great boutique hotel. The food prepared by the staff in the hotel was one of the best we had in Bali - both dinner and breakfast ! The staff was absolutely lovely, and helped us organize a full day of activities, as well as the transport to our next destination. Would absolutely recommend !

Ambivalent Experience with highlights & lowlights

We were seeking a remote place which is hidden and perfect for a nice getway. And we have found it. Heaven in Bali is probably one of the TOP5 properties weve been when it comes to disconnect and relax. (Have been living in Bali for more than 2 years and tried heaps of different hotels & home stays on the island) The view and location is unique and allows you to come down and escape the ordinary. The staff is super friendly & helpful to make your stay comfortable and nice

Nevertheless: The downsides weve noticed do add up and leave us with mixed feelings. 1. The current pictures on booking.com do not reflect realistic impressions. The property is run down and needs some maintenance and refurbishments. 2. The pool area: pool lights are fallen off and float underneath the surface - attached with electric wires, which can be dangerous Quite a lot of pool tiles fell off and lay around at the pool ground. They do have sharp edges which can cause insuries 3. Rooms: our entrance staircases are shaky and also broken. With rusty nails standing out. 4. The shower heads are mouldy and do not work the way they are supposed to work (this could be fixed quite easily and fast) 5. Bed linen have quite a lot of stains and might be replaced with new ones. 6. The mosquito- net is dirty, left with black stains and has big holes. Old, dead insects still hang in it. (could also probably easily washed and hung up again) it just gives you a rough feeling when laying in bed 7. Electric sockets in the room are old, covered in dust and mould and do not seem to work properly 8. Drawers are broken - can not be used 9. we had some sort of rat, hamster or any kind of wild rodent in our room which kept us awake almost all night - while building nests. (It was hidden behind a wooden box - which was clearly taped off, to prevent animals from sneaking in - but the tape was simply a quick fix) Food: The food is tasty and is also made in an authentic kitchen within the living room area. Which is nice! You can interact with the staff and watch them cook your food. Considering the stated prices and level of tastiness, we find it quite expensive. For example: Nasi Campur for 110.000 IDK might be to much. Weve had some Nasi Campur in a 4 Star Hotel the days before, with high level cuisine and experienced chefs for about 85.000 IDR. The cuisine is good, but decent local Warungs in the area deliver the same level of taste for a 2/3 of the price.

Very relaxing and quiet place with breathtaking views. Tasty breakfast and dinner + Water refill station + WiFi + very nice staff = no need to leave the place. Extended our stay hope we can visit again soon!

The most jaw-dropping stay in Bali, jungle vibes with unmatched views of Ubuds wild landscape. Staff was super friendly and attentive. Dinner and breakfast were amazing too.

The bathroom could use some remodeling and the shower head was quite mouldy
