A wonderful experience to stay in a Balinese compound.We got to see how some family members live .

Staying in the loft was fun.The ceiling was high and my son had his own private space. Gerry ,the butler was always kind and attentive and helpful.So was Yande.

I think the room can be a big brighter and the mirror is too high.We were unable to use it.

My siblings and I visited from Brisbane Australia and stayed from the 1st-4th of Dec 2023. All three of us loved our stay at Gunung Merta Bungalows. We really appreciated all the staff, specifically the two lovely male and female staff members who helped us check in and bought our luggage in at 7:00pm at night while it was pouring rain (unfortunately we werent able to get their names). Nata was also lovely, he bought us towels while we were swimming. All the staff were very kind and helpful, they bought our breakfast up to our balcony every morning and always asked us about our day which was really nice. The bungalows were super cool and nice. We will definitely come again.

The staff is amazing. The location is very central and its like you are living in a small community with local people. Rooms are very clean and from the balcony have great view to forest. We love it all the way.

the place is super nice. Although it is on a busy street, the bungalow is in the back of the yard and you cant hear anything. also there is a little "jungle" towards the river so the only "noises" you hear is the amazing wildlife. Totally worth it! The staff is incredibly kind and helpful, many thanks to Sri, Wira and the others whom made our stay so pleasant
