Instagrammable, cool stay but terrible hygiene

The design of the pool and hotel is absolutely beautiful. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location is in the centre of Ubud, so its convenient.

The hygiene was not up to standard. I felt itchy the first two nights sleeping in the bed - I asked the staff to change, I felt better but the bed linings and pillow cases had black marks and sauce stains - same goes to the towels- were not bleached white. The room was also quite musty and damp. The stairs can be quite dangerous if you walk up and down. The water bottles they prepared were mouldy on the inside of the cap. I dared not drink water from the bottle. The bath was dirty and mouldy. It was clogged as well. I had to shower with the water up to my ankles. There were also very tiny bugs on the wall near the shower - I think thats what made me feel itchy as I dried my towel and clothes in the bathroom. Last but not least, I found a dead fly in my fried noodles and two dead ants in my fried egg. Though the staff had apologised and given me free fruit platter, it just proves that the kitchen facilities are unclean. It has scarred me and I dared not have breakfast in the hotel anymore.

Beautiful small and cozy hotel near Ubud center. The territory is beautiful with pool, kitchen with all needed stuff and near beautiful temple with fish Hotel workers were super friendly and supportive:) Internet was quite fast and ok for work

Great and cool stay at the clan living

The bath was great. It is very quiet, you dont hear the noise from the street. Location is great because it is close to the center of ubud so you can walk to places. The apartment is very cool. Breakfast was very nice. To enter the property you have to go through traditional houses which are very beautiful as well. The pool and the common areas are beautiful during the night.

They were working on the pool when we arrived so that was kind of upsetting but we got free dinner for the trouble which was a very nice gesture. The couch is a little bit small. If you are very tall you have to be careful

Good location, nice and clean, but pretty small rooms. friendly staff!

Room design was nice and authentic. I loved the balcony! It was also very clean - hotel staff did the cleaning every day.

The room was smaller than I expected, but for a solo traveler it is fine. My bed on a second floor was just under the ceiling, so I kept bang my head of it. Stairs to the second floor were pretty dangerous also.

The location is great, it is near to the best restaurants and also the money forest. Great breakfast, the room is very beautiful, comfortable and organized. They also organized our transfer from the airport to the hotel with the driver Nasib, it was great to make our arrival easier. I highly recommend it, for sure when we get back to ubud we will stay there again.

Beautiful small hotel with a very good location.

Our room wasn't so clean and everything felt really humid, so it wasn't so pleasant to sleep in the bed. The bed also didn't smell fresh. the bedroom was upstairs but so close to the roof it is not at all nice to sleep there. it felt a bit claustrophobic. Also the pool was really dirty so we couldn't swim.

Beautiful hotel in the centre of Ubud

-Friendly staff with amazing travel-tips! You can message them through WhatsApp at anytime which we found really helpful and smooth. -The AC and WiFi worked perfectly. -Really stylish, beautiful and clean. -Comfortable bed. -Kitchen for guest-use. -Nice hangout-spots! -The waterpressure was amazing!

-Since the villa is in the centre, prepare yourself for some noise from nextdoor bars and restaurants. With earplugs its not too bad. -Thin walls as it is in most of the hotels on tropical islands. We had a bit noisier guests nextdoor on the last night so we had hard time falling asleep.. On first four nights we slept really well -The stairs were really steep so you have to be really careful so you dont slip. -No deposit-box provided.

Superb

Wonderful Ubud stay!

Wonderful place to stay while in Ubud. The room is very modern and spacious, aircon is nice and cool, and the balcony hammock is incredible for photos + relaxing in. Very cool how you can change the lighting from yellow to white or both too. Great location with nice cafes and restaurants in a walkable distance. Generally quiet as it's on the main street but tucked behind some buildings - some live music from nearby bars but the music was enjoyable and you can keep the door closed if it bothers you. Daily housekeeping for fresh towels is also great!

The bath had an unattractive green and beige discolouration in middle of the stone finish. It's cleaned but unfortunately offputting to look at. The loft stairs are quite small and slippery so you really need to be careful.
