Superb

Great location for 1 night stay on way from Ubud to Denpassar. It is far from Ubud city centre but it was OK for us after day in city. It is a quiet location. Nice & large bathroom (garden view villa).

Food&drinks are serving until 7pm only.

Canvas escape resort did not meet up with our expectations, but the staff was extremely nice

The staff was very nice and friendly and always willing to help. The included breakfast was also very good and they even gave us an lunch package for when we did the mount Batur hike (which we were picked up for at 02:30). The shower was very nice and steady warm (which is a problem sometimes with accommodations).

When we arrived at the accommodation, we got another room for the first 2 days because of some electrical problems with the room we rented in the first place. After the 2 days we had to move to another room for the last day. The accommodation was made of wood which had holes/cracks in the walls and roof. Thrue these holes and cracks came a very large gekko and spiders in the room, which made it difficulty to sleep here. Also the AC was making very much noise (and was not working very well), and they would turn it off when they cleaned the room (so you will get back to a very warm room). Next to the accommodation there were burning trass, which was extremely toxic and the whole street was covered in smoke (and where you could not turn on the AC because of this smoke). The first night we stayed here we were waked by the rooster that was living on the premises at around 03:00, 04:00, 05:00, 06:00 in the morning. Also there was some sort of karaoke going on from 05:00 till around 07:00 in the morning.

They are very ready. I booked this place last minute at night because the previous villa I booked was not ready, so I needed to look for last minute hotel. They explained everything well. And we can park our car even though the street to enter is very small. Bed is comfy, big room.

We liked our stay as it was out of rush center of Ubud but still close by bike (15min. We had an amazing time here, staff was super helpful with everything and were grateful.
