Loved it so much I cancelled my next booking and asked to stay and extra night!

It was very lovely- I never used the pool but it looked nice. Very spacious, comfy room with AC (much needed). The most lovely staff. I felt very comfortable here as a female solo traveler!

The shower wasnt very warm and I could hear people walking past my room at night.

- bathroom is old and moldy - shower curtain is brown and moldy, and needed to be changed last year - the Aircon in the first room we had wasn't strong enough to cool the room, second room was better - the farmers burn their farm right beside hotel and the smoke gets through all the huge cracks in every door so even if the doors are closed everything is going to smell like smoke (even your clothes). When this happens it's hard for even the Aircon to keep the room cool as the gaps in the door allow hot air inside - corners of the room weren't swept and there was a bunch of dirt right in front of the window - bathroom door didn't lock property and was challenging to close each time - sheets heavily stained, towels almost brown of overuse for years please replace them. It's not fair to still be using such unhygienic rags for customers - Tv lagging, old and there's like 2 channels

Very well located hotel in Ubud

The hotel is very well located in Jl Bisma a rather quiet street close to downtown Ubud about 10 minutes to Monkey forest Very close to a number of delicious restaurants, shopping opportunities etc The garden and the 2 pools are beautiful The rooms would need some repainting The staff like everywhere is Bali is very caring and courteous Very good price value ratio

I would suggest a fresh up of the rooms as they have gotten a little old

Room is clean and view is great. Swimming pool is quite spacious and staffs are nice. They helped us to book activitites. View could be amazing, unfortunately we stayed when the ricefield had been harvested.

Tight parking. Also it's located in narrow alley, could be an issue for bigger car. This hotel is almost at the end of Jl. Bisma and it took us 15 mins to walk up to Jl. Ubud or you can walk the other way to Monkey Forest but quite dark at night.

Wouldnt recommend if you are coming with kids.

Nothing much.

No rice field at all. I booked it for the view displayed on the page but its totally viseversa. No lift. Needs modern modification as in key card instead of key.

Superb

No regrets!

The hotel is beautiful and it's in a nice peaceful road with lots to eat and do. This was our favourite stay in Indonesia. You literally don't have to leave Bisma Road. It has everything! I actually think the place is more beautiful than in the photos. The pool by the rice field is something special and I loved that we took a room that leads right onto it (King Suite). Sunsets here are magical. The rooms are really well-furnished (but yes, the bed is creaky as hell) and you get extras like vanity kits, showr caps and toothbrushes. I would've loved some bath salts or bath foam, but you could pick that up at the market very close by. . Very nice, helpful staff and so professional. The first night my aircon didn't work and I had a bad night's sleep. The next day they fixed it. The room is clean, although the bath wasn't initially. After asking them to clean it, they did and it was a lovely touch to be able to bathe in the evenings. Like a private spa :-) WiFi is pretty good although it did lose signal on video calls. All in all good value for money and the pool area is so lovely it will suck you in and you won't leave the hotel if you're not careful. I recommend you eat at Lucky's across the road (ask for Diah) Pistachio for something more upmarket and visit the Putri Ubud spa. All of these are mere steps away.

The breakfast was not the best I've had. I would've given them a 10 of it wasnt for this. We ended up eating out every morning and essentially wasted our money including breakfast in our rate. The idea is nice but everything tastes like it was made the night before and reheated and you have to fill in a form to order your breakfast lol. The fruit clearly wasn't fresh cut and it was very cold. The bread was toasted but stale. The eggs and sausage rubbery. The juice was artificial (which is strange because they make lovely fresh juices on site) and the coffee was not great either. The rest of the food from the ala carte menu was delicious though and not expensive. Recommend the mie goreng! One more thing to note is that there is a major ant problem, although this is for Ubud generally. You will see every kind of ant that exists lol. It's fine, but you will see them on your table at the restaurant, on your sun beds and on your bed. So just watch out for that and come prepared.
