A total bad experience - Totally no form of service recovery or customer service.

I would like to express my utmost disappointment and dissatisfaction in Anema Villa. This is my first time being at my ultimate degree of being calm as we had only 2 nights here before heading back to Singapore and thus we did not want to dispute or confront much on the following issues with the staff as not to further waste our holiday. I have taken many videos and photos as attached on the safety issues and discomfort level in the accommodation. Television set The TV had only a glimpse of brightness when we check in, we alerted the reception and she came over to test out the TV. Firstly she said that they have some problems with their provider thus there is no channels at all and only able to view Netflix & YouTube which we are fine with it. When she came over, she tested the TV and told us to close the curtain as might be bright outside thus the TV contrast turn out dark which we find it ridiculous. Given the benefit of doubt, we close the curtains however it didnt solve any problems, the TV screen was still very dark. We then told the reception again and she came to test it out (2nd time within an hour) she told us the TV is spoilt as when she tested again the TV totally cant even be on. She told us the technician will come over to repair it at 5pm however didnt...Thereafter during check out day she apologies to us that the TV cannot be used without even explaining why didnt the technician came over to repair and having us waited the whole noon.. (i assume they could just switch over another TV from another unit as i can see they are not fully booked during the period of our accomodation) Thermal water boiler The thermal water is faulty as it doesnt auto turn off after the water is being boiled(all thermal water boiler do have this feature of auto turn off no matter how old or cheap the boiler is as its a form of safety issue), please see video attached, I had reboiled again for proof of evidence.

Overall not bad experience. The cleaniness of the property needs improving.

The private space and the pool is the only value for this property.

The AC did not work properly even after we complained and it was cleaned. This might be because the room is too big and there were gaps around the doors or the ac is too old. I did not like how used and old the rooms were which do need some renovation. The bathroom and the toilet had yellow stains.

Loved our stay. Great value for money and will be back again.

Beautiful private pool villa. The room was a great size with large living area and full size fridge. The staff were lovely and the pool was the perfect size for two of us and got lots of sun throughout the day. Will definitely visit again.

The only issues we came across during our stay were that the large doors from the bedroom out to the pool had a gap in them and didnt seal properly allowing mosquitoes to get in. We just kept the curtains closed at night to try and stop them from getting in. And secondly, the gas bottle line to the stovetop had a leak and we could smell gas so we informed the staff who disconnected it for us straight away. Both issues could be solved by a handyman and would definitely make it a more enjoyable stay for future guests.

Great stay comfortable residence and very private.

It was a nice personal oasis and set up really well. Bed was comfy and staff friendly. Felt more like a local with cheap local groceries and laundry shops nearby.

A bit of a walk to the beach but was nice to get away from the tourists anyway

Great stay , good location . Excellent pool. Very private. Extraordinary staff !

Excellent location and villas are neatly maintained by the staff. The best thing here is the staff, always happy and smile faces to make you feel more cozy and ensure all your requirements are taken care of.

Nothing much really , just minor glitches with the fan and pool which the staff have fixed on the spot.

No complimentary water, no power point on bench for kettle. May have a smart tv but unable to just get the free channels, no air con in open lounge area.
