If your wanting to see and get a true feel of what Kolkata has to offer, Sea of Faces and Thousand Places tour with Polo ticks all boxes. From using all forms of local transportation and exploring the (Read More) parts of Kolkata off the tourist trail, couldn’t ask for more. Best part was Polo love and her passion for her city. Her Insights were priceless. Highly recommend to all travellers.

I joined an afternoon tour with Get Local in Kolkata, and it was truly a wonderful experience. My guide, Polo, was absolutely fantastic. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and incredibly easy to talk t (Read More)o. Throughout the tour, she answered all my questions about Kolkata with great detail and clarity, helping me understand the city far beyond what I could have learned on my own. The tour itself was engaging, emotional, and very well balanced. We visited a variety of places across the city, from some of the most iconic and traditional sights to locations that were more moving and thought-provoking. This mix gave me a much deeper appreciation of Kolkata, its history, and its people. What really made the experience special was Polo’s enthusiasm, local knowledge, and ability to explain everything in such an interesting and accessible way. She made me feel comfortable throughout the tour and helped bring the city to life. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Kolkata. It was a memorable experience, and Polo’s guidance made it even better.
