Shevaroy Temple, Yercaud Overview

The Shevaroy temple is situated on highest point of the flat-topped Shevaroy hills and is mainly dedicated to Lord Shevaroyan. The temple is built out of a narrow inky black cave which is complete and airtight. The idols of Lord Shevaroyan and Goddess Kaveri are placed inside it.

The native tribals come in hundreds and celebrate their annual festival in the premises of this temple during the month of May every year.
