Servaroyan Temple, Yercaud Overview
Servaroyan Temple is a cave temple at a height of 5,326 ft, making it one of the highest temples in the region. It is presided over by Lord Servaroyan, the local deity of the area, and also houses an idol of Goddess Kaveri, considered the goddess of the Cauvery river.
Believed to be atleast 2000 years old, there is also an ancient well near the temple. Besides, the main festival at the temple is celebrated every May which is visited by thousands of native tribe members.
