Servaroyan Temple, Yercaud Overview

At a height of 5326 ft., Servaroyan Temple is one of the highest temples in the region which is also a cave temple. Presided by Lord Servaroyan - the local deity of the place, the holy place also has an idol of Goddess Kaveri. Lord Seraroyan is considered to be the God of the hills while Goddess Kaveri is considered to be the Goddess of River Cauvery.

Believed to be atleast 2000 years old, there is also an ancient well near the temple. Besides, the main festival at the temple is celebrated every May which is visited by thousands of native tribe members.
