New Delhi to Xi'an is serviced by Air China, Cathay Pacific, Shandong Air, China Eastern, China Southern, Jet Airways .
Indians need a Visa to enter the city and it is best to apply at the Chinese Embassy in Delhi. Xi'an allows three day free transit visas though conditionally.
Xianyang International Airport connects Beijing, Fuzhou, Guangzhou, Nanjing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Xiamen and Zhangjiajie within Mainland China. International flights connect Helsinki, Bangkok, Seoul, Hong Kong, Macau,Singapore and Tokyo and Hiroshima. Since Xi'an is in the heart of China, it takes around 2 hours to fly to most major Chinese cities.

People can drive into the city though it is not a popular option for travel.
High speed trains are now available besides normal trains in the city. The major stations are - Xi'an station, Xi'an North and South stations.
