It is advisable to avoid monsoons. The rush is relatively less during the monsoons but heavy downpour makes it a bit difficult to walk to the Bhavan.

- Do not forget to get Yatra Parchi√•√?on whose absence, you will have to return from Ban Ganga. Visitors keep shouting the slogans in praise of Maa Vaishno Devi to keep everyone motivated. You might join the wagon and you might find it really interesting and motivating.

Vaishno Devi caters to both your religious as well as adventurous spirit as it combines a temple, one of the most popular Hindu temples at that, with trekking. The temple in itself is beautiful but if you are not one for religious outings, you should still go there for the trek it offers. The entire path is lined with shops and stalls so you will not find yourself running out of sustenance. Even if you cannot trek and you find it difficult to walk on the path, the temple is accessible through horses and palanquins, which means that everybody can go to the top. It, however, is extremely crowded. But that doesn't mean it has to be all negative as the crowd means that there are more people who share your faith. You will feel a sense of community that is unmatched.

What are the different mode of reaching to Mata rani mandir from Katra Railway station?

If u have less luggage and want to trek without rest then start your yatra after taking yatra Parchi from counter near Katra bus stand. If you want to take rest then rest in some hotel or Dharmshala, then start tracking. Preferably yatra is good at night from Banganga check post u have to go on by 1.foot/pony/doli upto bhawan. 2.on foot, pony or human carrier(doli) up to Ardhkuwanri and from there by small buses to bhawan. 120-150 people get tickets for a time for 100Rs. Wait for 2 hrs for next booking. 2. Helicopter facility is also there from Katra to Sanjhichhat. One side fare is 1045.
