Someshwara Wildlife Sanctuary, Udupi Overview

Someshwara Wildlife Sanctuary is home to semi-evergreen and evergreen forests in the Western Ghats of Udupi, named after Lord Someshwara, whose temple lies within the sanctuary area. The Agumbe Ghat here receives the highest rainfall in Karnataka and is known as the Cherrapunji of Karnataka.
