Zangto Pelri Lhakhang, Thimphu Overview
A Buddhist monastery in Paro, Zangto Pelri Lhakhang is a replica of Guru Rinpoche's celestial abode and truly a glory in itself. Built in 1990 by Dasho Aku Tongmi, who also composed the National Anthem of Bhutan, this beautiful structure houses several statues of Buddhist Gurus, many of which are as high as 4 metres.
