Loro Parque, Tenerife Overview

Like Siam Park, Loro Parque is the longest established Park in Tenerife. Located on the outskirts of Puerto de la Cruz in Tenerife, the park features the largest collection of parrots in the world.

Loro Parque, in Spanish, refers to as "parrot park". Set within a Jurassic Park environment, covering an area of 13.5 hectares. It houses a diverse range of animal and plant species. The park was conceived to be a paradise for the parrots and has the largest collection of parrots in the world. There are various shows in the park, featuring sea lions, dolphins and parrots. There is a huge parrot museum along with a parrot baby station. There is also a separate children's playground named Kinderlandia.
