Here you would find a bunch of natural pools along the Atlantic Ocean that formed due to lava cooling off. They are surrounded by the imposing La Culata cliffs and are also close to the famous San Miguel Castle as well as some restaurants, which means that there is plenty for you to explore here. Keep in mind that while these pools are mostly safe for swimming, you mustn’t go in when the water is a little turbulent. There are lifeguards present here during summertime.

Charco de la Laja is a stunning natural pool situated in San Juan de la Rambla on the island’s northwest coast. The Charco de Los Chochos natural pool is located within the Los Silos municipality of Tenerife and was created as a result of volcanic eruptions that led to the formation of massive and uneven rocks.
