Tarsar Marsar Trek, Srinagar Overview
The Tarsar Marsar Trek is a high-altitude trek in the Aru Valley, Anantnag district, covering two alpine lakes, Tarsar and Marsar. Typically done between June and September, the trail passes through pine forests, meadows and river crossings, with views of the Kolahoi Glacier and surrounding peaks along the way.
This moderate-to-difficult trek spans approximately 7 days and covers a distance of about 48 km, with elevations reaching up to 13,000 feet.
