The Museum of Photographic Arts is a museum and visual learning center, situated in Balboa Park, San Diego, California. It is an independent institution that collects, protects, and presents photography, films, and video graphics art. MOPA presents a broad range of rotating exhibitions from the solo photographer as well as group shows around the globe, across the year.
Visitors are supported to take photographs at the museum and make their own art to enrich their visit. There isn't any general admission fee, instead visitors can make a voluntary contribution.
